-Beginner
Gymnastics
Basic gymnastics class for anyone new to the sport. Skills from USAG Level
1 are taught & must be mastered before moving on to Intermediate.
-Intermediate Gymnastics
This class is for any athlete who has mastered Level 1 skills & has
progressed to working USAG Level 2 skills.
-Advanced Gymnastics
This is considered the highest level of gymnastics before the competitive
team. The athlete has mastered both Level 1 & 2, and will then learn
the Level 3 USAG skills.
-Home School Gymnastics
This gymnastics experience is designed to meet the fitness and social
needs of our home-schooled families. The classes are taught during the
day & create a fun social environment for all home schooled children.
-Beginner/Intermediate
Cheer Tumbling
This class teaches the basic tumbling skills & techniques to become
an outstanding cheerleading. You learn skills such as Cartwheels, Round
offs, hurdling and beginning techniques of throwing back handsprings.
-Back Handspring Class
This class specifically teaches correct technique for learning back handsprings.
Back handsprings are the basic step to becoming an elite tumbler. The
correct technique from the beginning is highly important! The instructor
works directly with the athlete on mastering this skill on their own.
-Advanced Cheer Tumbling
This class is for cheerleaders who are working intermediate to advanced
tumbling passing such as layouts, fulls, double fulls, whips, aerials
& variation passes. A round off Back handspring tuck is required to
take this class.
-Cheer Skills I &
II
This class teaches athletes basic cheerleading skills such as motions,
cheers, tumbling, & jump technique. In some instances we also work
on stunting skills such as basing & flying. Once the child knows these
skills, they then have the knowledge to tryout for the competitive team.
The only difference in the two classes is the age groups broken down 5-8
years & 9-18 years.
-Parent Tot Class
This classes for is children ages 2-4 years old, and parents who would
like to be involved in the class experience. The parents come out on the
floor with the children & help with activities. Fun class for everyone!
-Baby Mountain Climbers
This class is for children ages 3-4 who can handle the gym experience
without a parent on the floor with them. It is their 1st chance for independence
in this atmosphere & it sure is fun to watch. This class starts developing
coordination, motor & social skills.
-Tiny Rock Tumblers
This is the last step in the preschool program. This class is for children
ages 5-6 and works on more motor, coordination & memory skills. They
start to learn body awareness & control.
